  1. The Rental Agreement

    Rental Terms and Conditions is a document you receive when you are given access to the car you are renting (“Rental Contract”) any additional agreement signed by you will be included in the agreement. Return receipt or record will consist of rental charges. Together everything will be a Rental Agreement.

  2. Your Rental

    As you rent a car from Amazing Car Rental, the Rental Contract will show the vehicle and other necessities that are included in your trip. The Rental Contrat is solely a transfer of possession and not ownership. As a renter, you have agreed to the term is not prohibited by the law of a jurisdiction covering this rental. You also agree that you are not our agent for any purpose and that you cannot assign delegate or transfer your obligations under the Rental Agreement and any discrete part.

  3. Changes

    During a Rental, changes can come up. Any changes in the Rental Agreement must be in writing and signed by an authorized Amazing Staff. You agree to any changes that we have in these Terms and Conditions from time to time either upon written notice to you, in paper or electronic form, or posting on Amazing’s website. Such changes will apply to rentals that you reserve after such notice has been given, indicated by the date of such notice. Any changes will be posted on the Amazing website at www.Amazingcarrental.com and will govern all rentals commencing after posting even if the terms provided at the time of booking the rental are different.

  4. The Driver of the Car

    Renting a car from us is you representing Amazing. A validly licensed driver is capable and will remain a capable and validly licensed driver throughout the term of the rental. You agree that we have the right to verify that your license has been validly issued and is in good standing (not suspended, revoked, or otherwise restricted in any way) as a condition precedent to each rental; and that we may in our sole discretion refuse to rent to you if your license is not in good standing. Amazing Car Rental reserves the right to deny rentals based upon (i) information about your license status, (ii) the authenticity of your driver's license or other credentials, (iii) the inability to verify your identity or payment methods, (iv) your driving record provided by the Motor Vehicle Department of the jurisdiction that issued your license, or (v) any other information received from any other source in the business of validating an identity or the driver's license credential that we believe to be reliable. We reserve the right to validate your driving credentials and license good standing periodically without notice to you except as required by law. Any Permitted Driver must be at least 25 years old and must also be a capable and validly licensed driver at all times during which such person is operating the car. Any person other than you or a Permitted Driver that operates the car must sign an additional driver form at the time of the rental. We may charge for each additional driver authorized to drive the car, which will be specified on the Rental Contract. You acknowledge that you will remain financially responsible under the Rental Agreement at all times even if the car is operated by a Permitted Driver or someone other than yourself.

  5. Return the Car

    You agree to return the car to us in the same condition that you received it in. Normal wear and tear is excepted however if anything is serious please contact us. If you return the car earlier or later a diff rate may apply. Only applies if delivered 24 hours before the ending rental time. If vehicle is returned past the rental time, a late fee will apply. Above 4 hours of the deadline for return, you will be charged for an additional day. You may not return the car outside of the return locations operating hours unless specifically allowed by that location. If you do, you are responsible for any damage to or loss of the car and all changes stated on the Rental contract will continue until the return location reopens and we process the return of the car. Operating hours vary by location. If we do not find the car when that location opens, your responsibility for all charges and for damage to or loss of the car will continue until the car is actually returned or recovered. If you wish to extend any rental you must contact us at 1-612-701-9006 or use a method we approve to request the extension before your return date. We may or may not grant an extension or decline to grant it for the entire period you request, at our sole discretion. If you do not return the car to the location specified in the Rental Agreement, as and when required under the Rental Agreement, you may be subject to criminal penalties. If we do grant an extension a different or higher rate may be applied to the extension period and a service fee may also apply.

  6. Location Drop off

    Returning the car to the right place helps you avoid any additional charges that are authorized by us. If the car is returned to a different location that is not on the Rental Contract, you may have to pay for a one-way service fee. If you return the car to a different location without our permission, you will be responsible to pay an unauthorized return location fee that will be done by an Amazing employee.

  7. Tolls

    You agree to pay for all tolls that occur in your booked time slot. If you do not pay cash for tolls or the roadway doesn't accept cash payment, you will automatically be charged a $3.50 per day for the whole rental period. This will max up to $17.50 per rental month plus incurred tolls at the maximum prevailing rates posted by the toll authority. You can avoid the convenience fee and any other charges by paying the toll in cash, using your own electronic toll device, or avoiding any cashless toll road or passage. The e-Toll charges may take 4-8 weeks after the rental concludes to be billed to your credit card/debit card on file.

  8. Fines, Expenses, Costs & Administrative Fees

    All renters are responsible to pay for all fees, penalties, interests, and court costs for parking, traffic, tolls, and other violations that may occur during the rental. For any reason to repossess or recover the car, you will be responsible to pay an administration fee with respect to the violation. You consent that, at our sole discretion, we may pay all tickets, citations, fines, penalties, and interest due to you directly to the relevant authority. In exchange, you agree to reimburse us for any fees we incurred in paying the relevant authority or their designated agents, as well as a reasonable administrative fee. You accept and agree that we cooperate with all federal, state/provincial, municipal, and local officials tasked with enforcing these violations by giving them any information they may need. You agree to pay all charges and collection fees, including but not limited to administrative and legal costs to such agent upon demand without objection in the event that we utilize a third-party collection service or agent to resolve any tickets, citations, fines, penalties, and interest. You acknowledge that, except to the extent that the only penalty for the infraction is the payment of money and the infraction does not involve any other administrative, civil, or criminal penalties, you have no right to contest any such infraction or enter any plea other than guilty or no contest.

  9. Insurance

    You agree to provide your own insurance as we do not provide insurance. Any sort of damages on the rental vehicle will go through your insurance. We do provide insurance at an additional charge which can be found on the preview page once you have selected your vehicle. This insurance you must report an accident to the Minnesota Department of Safety. You are required to complete and submit a Motor Vehicle Accident Report within ten days of an accident if any of the following apply:

    1. The accident caused injury or death.
    2. The accident caused total property damage of $1,000 or more.
    3. If you fail to report an accident to the Minnesota Department of Safety, you may have your license suspended. In the event that another driver offers to pay for damages and asks you not to report an accident, you are still required to file the report in any of the situations outlined above.
  10. Property in the Car

    You are responsible for all loss, theft, or damaged personal belongings as we do not take any accountability. You’ll be responsible to us for claims by others for loss or damage caused by your property.

  11. Error in Renal Charges

    Everyone makes mistakes. Charges on the Rental record are not final and are always on review. You’ll pay any undercharges and you’ll receive a refund for any overcharges we discover on review.

  12. Additional Services and Products

    As time goes by we may change what is available for rent. You agree to all terms and conditions if you purchase or use these services. If any of the services or products are damaged you are responsible to pay for the full amount.

  13. Car and Location Data

    Every vehicle is equipped with a tracking device from Zubie which provides us with information about the car's condition, performance, fuel consumption, distance traveled, location, and other information for Amazing. These devices were installed by us for everyone's safety.

  14. Fuel

    Fueling up last minute can be challenging, therefore give us the car, and we will do it. There will be an additional charge on all vehicles, however, charges vary depending on the vehicle. Each vehicle given to a renter will have a full tank and we hope to get it back the same. You may choose from our products as we do offer a no fuel service too.

  15. Out of State/Country

    You agree that if you rent a vehicle for thirty days or more you will need to bring back the vehicle for inspection and rebooking. As per the law, a vehicle can not be rented for thirty days or more on one single rental agreement. If you are looking to rent a vehicle for longer then thirty days please do contact us as we will work things out for you. You agree to notify Amazing if the vehicle will be going out of state or country. If we do find out the vehicle has gone out of state or country without notifying Amazing, you will be responsible for all penalties from Amazing or authorities.
